• Monitor operational work processes so that they are in compliance with the Company’s Quality Policy and to conduct quality training and quality meeting to drive for continuous improvement relating to quality function. To assist superior for onsite rectification job when required.
• Participate in Quality Management System (QMS) and Project Quality Plan (QMS / PQP) implemented in company operation or throughout the project implementation.
• Perform conditional, dimension check and other required inspection to all incoming material to ensure incoming materials are in accordance to company purchase specification unless a Certificate of Conformance (COC) from the supplier is obtained.
• Provide immediate feedback to superior and related department head on fault materials/parts or materials which are out of purchase specification during incoming materials QC inspection.
• Prepare, collect, review, manage and maintain all the project quality documentations which are required by client for final acceptance and buy off of the system, equipment or finished good.
• Ensure there is evidence that the equipment/machine/system has been subjected to QA inspection and buy off and Internal Machine Buy Off Report is prepared prior to packing and shipment to customer.
• Responsible on analysis and troubleshoot rejects, response to customer complaint relating to product quality and start up issues, keep the customer up-to-date on actions taken, together with a time plan for which the identified issues can be resolved and to conduct failure analysis with recommendation for improvement.
• Coordinate with customer, onsite sub-contractors for equipment testing and commissioning activities, scheduling and work towards schedule as planned and ensuring that equipment works to its specification.
• Ensure timely commissioning and certification of all systems and equipment supplied to the customer.
• Implement best start-up practices throughout the project sites and participate in discussion with team for effective management and utilisation of constrained resources.
• Carry out formal risk assessment to identify and evaluate the risks relating to QA functions and recommend to management for the measures to be implemented to eliminate and minimise those risks which remain relevant.
• Provide training to end customer for Faeth equipment supplied based on the user manual, providing technical instruction and assistance to customer regarding installation, commissioning, operation, repairs and maintenance of equipment.
• Investigate problems, diagnose/repair faults and carry out field troubleshooting and repair at customers’ site both local & overseas.
• Create and maintain all the documentation and records relating to QA & QC functions.
• Ensure that regular checks are performed on machine reliability (calibration check) to minimise the risk of disruption to production activities and calibration record.
• Support customers on the quality related activities, to liaise with suppliers, sub-contractors and internal department heads on quality aspects and quality issues for all systems throughout the project implementation.
• Coordinate, implement and ensure compliance to Company’s ISO Quality Certification requirements.

YOUR PROFILE

• Diploma/degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical or equivalent
• At least 3 years’ QA/QC experience in a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft office and good in oral and written communication skills for reporting requirements
• Good interpersonal & communication skills to effectively interact with people at all level and to work cross functionally
• A team player who is a self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Willing to travel and be site based for projects.
