YOUR TASKS

The incumbent is responsible for managing all phases of the project activities including planning, implementation, execution and completion of gas and chemical supply equipment, installation and certification.

• Manage, lead and control multi-projects.
• Direct interface with customers and sub-contractors for all aspects of their project contract and schedule including organising the project meeting for technical presentations, contract reviews and design reviews and providing project progress reports for management or customer review.
• Direct interface with other Faeth associated companies in managing the resources and obtain the necessary engineering, design or process information required to manufacturer, install and qualify the system and equipment.
• Take charge in project planning and implementation including developing detailed project plans defining project task and to manage project resource allocation and project budget, scheduling of project timelines and tracking of project deliverables to meet the project targets.
• Liaise and manage suppliers and subcontractors to complete system or equipment installation works.
• Oversee and provide guidance to project team on day-to-day basis project activities, coordinate with the service and maintenance team to ensure timely start-up and certification of the system and equipment supplied to customer.
• Prepare, collect, review, manage and maintain project documentation with customers, consultants and the authorities which is required by clients for final acceptance of the system or equipment.
• Review the project targets at every project phase to ensure the project is within budget in term of project costs and cash flows, its schedule timeframe and to perform risk analysis and take corrective action if necessary.
• Responsible for acting on, and solving all customer complaint as swiftly as possible with minimum inconvenience to the customer, and to keep the customer up to date on actions taken, together with a time plan for which the identified issues can be resolved.
• Prepare and manage all safety inclusive of Work Method Statement, Risk Assessment, Permit to Work and others permit associate with the work.
• Upon completion of a project to participate in post mortem meeting with management for evaluation of the project results and project problem faced and provide recommendations to Management for future improvement.
• Coordinate with the onsite sub-contractors, Faeth team & the client for equipment testing, operations and commissioning activities.
• Work towards the project schedule as planned and ensure that the equipment works as per the contractual specification.

YOUR PROFILE

• Diploma/degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical or equivalent
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for the position
• Strong understanding of project planning, project management functions, sourcing and technical planning in semiconductor, oil & gas field.
• Willingness to travel and be site based for projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD or equivalent CAD/3D Software
• Ability to communicate and interact with people at all level and to work cross functionally
• A team player who is a self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Strong analytical, planning, oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant working experience in manufacturing field, semiconductor industries is an added advantage.
