YOUR TASKS

The incumbent is responsible for managing all phases of the project activities including planning, implementation, execution and completion of gas and chemical supply equipment, installation and certification.

• Involve in overall design, programming and controls engineering, electrical, instrumentation and control system requirements for Faeth system – chemical/gas/slurry supply systems and related modules and on time delivery to meet customer’s specification and requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers or customers on project requirements including design, programming and controls engineering aspects.
• Assist procurement to source for electrical related components, parts and related suppliers according to customer and project specifications and current standards for electrical, programming and SCADA software components.
• Manage electrical and controls sub-contractors including scope of works, project schedule, project meeting and monitoring performance of sub-contractor to complete system or equipment installation works.
• Supervise all installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
• Oversee and provide guidance to electrical and controls engineering team, coordinate with the services and maintenance team to ensure timely start-up and certification of the system and equipment supplied to customer.
• Assist in acting on, and solving all customer complaints as swiftly as possible with  minimum inconvenience to the customer, and to keep the project manager and customer up-to-date on actions taken, together with a time plan for which the identified issues can be resolved.
• Ensure adequate quality assurance for all deliverables in relation electrical aspects for Faeth equipment supply to customers.
• Coordinate with technical document department for electrical schematics, operations documentation and manuals for Faeth equipment.
• Implement best practices throughout the project sites and participate in discussions with the teams for effective management and utilisation of constrained resources.
• Participate in Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Safety Management System (SMS) functions throughout the project.

YOUR PROFILE

• Diploma/degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Chemical or equivalent
• At least 3 years’ experience in a related field with Electrical and Controls Engineering
• Working knowledge of Industrial PLC programming applications including Siemens, Allan Bradley, Omron, Hitachi, etc
• Preferably experience with SIEMENS SIMATIC Tia Portal V13, S7-300 / 400 / ET200
• Able to use E-Plan or electrical CAD program
• Preferably experience with design calculations for equipment power distribution systems and related electrical/control requirements
• Willingness to travel and be site based for projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD or equivalent CAD/3D Software
• Ability to communicate and interact with people at all level and to work cross functionally
• A team player who is a self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Strong analytical, planning, oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant working experience in manufacturing field, semiconductor industries is an added advantage.
