Logistics and Warehouse Officer (m/f/d)
YOUR TASKS
- To in charge for overall day-to-day warehouse and logistics activities and ensure that operating in an efficient and effective manner.
- Responsible for the execution and implementation of inventory management system, shipment handling procedures and policies with regards to recording of incoming shipments, materials issuance and outgoing shipments and implement necessary improvement as needed.
- Responsible for inventory accuracy and comply with FIFO basis through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle counts, stock take.
- To organize cycle count, in-house year end stock count and participate in yearly auditors stock count.
- To investigate any stock discrepancies during inventory count and to reconcile the stock difference in the event of inventory inaccuracy, inventory loss, damage, etc.
- To coordinate with purchasing department on all the shipments deliveries and advise suppliers on the arrangement of incoming shipments. (Includes design of appropriate shipping instructions for suppliers to follow and to advise if suppliers having any doubt on shipping arrangement).
- To coordinate with purchasing department to complete the Lampiran D-List of Equipment and RM for exemption under FIZ (Importation) and application for the exemption on yearly estimate consumption and to liaise with custom authority on yearly renewal and BOM AM requirement.
- To liaise with project department for outgoing shipments to end customer and to coordinate with customer’s logistic team on related country custom rules compliance and custom documents as required for smooth and on time delivery per project schedule.
- To liaise with custom authorities on custom form declaration for incoming and outgoing shipments, sub-contractor works application and shipping handling documents.
- To manage and coordinate with appointed forwarding agents and logistic companies for incoming and outgoing oversea shipments and ensure materials / goods deliveries are handling in an effective and efficient manner per requestor need date and to optimize shipping costs.
- To manage and coordinate with appointed packaging vendors to ensure proper packing for finished goods for shipment, prepare necessary shipping and custom documents for outgoing shipments.
- To keep track for all the shipments deliveries records and provide insurance agent a monthly shipment report/summary according to marine insurance policy and coverage and to verify the marine insurance premium charge.
- To liaise with internal departments, suppliers and insurance agent and adjusters whenever there are insurance claims arise for the damage shipments.
- To coordinate with finance department on monthly stock report and to ensure its accuracy, monthly shipment for marine insurance cover, incoming materials freight costs records, shipping insurance claims if any, yearly custom BOM AM renewal and etc.
- To demonstrate high standards of work practices and adherence to Company safety standards such as forklift safety and proper stacking / packing techniques for a clean, safe and organized work place.
YOUR PROFILE
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree, in Logistic/Transportation/ Business Studies or equivalent.
- Preferably fresh graduate or 1-2 years of working experience in the related field.
- Verbal & written skills in the English language, other languages useful.
- Ability to communicate and interact with people at all level and to work cross functionally.
- Strong analytical, planning, negotiation, oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently, have self-motivate and confidence.
- Able to work as a team and possess a proactive attitude.
- A team player who is independent, self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Familiar with custom regulations and standards, local custom handling procedures for importation and exportation, tariff code and GST Act 2014 especially knowledge on ATS scheme.
- Knowledge on EMAS inventory software will be an added advantage
- Experience of working in manufacturing company situated in FIZ will be an added advantage.
