Varied 3.5-year apprenticeship in conjunction with a training workshop and vocational school.

How your training turns out depends on your partner school, training workshop and location, among other things. There is a regular alternation between school and business, which can take place on a block or daily basis. In addition, before you start your training, you will be assigned a buddy who will help you get started in your day-to-day work and provide you with advice and support.

You’ll learn more about it in your personal interview.

At Fäth Group, there are excellent chances of being taken on after your training. However, these also depend somewhat on your own performance during your training. Even though there is no guarantee of being taken on, it is our declared goal at Fäth Group to take on our trainees.

The minimum requirement for all our apprenticeships is a passed school-leaving certificate. We check the last two transcripts to see if the degree you are seeking is attainable. In addition, a good working atmosphere is important to us. Therefore, we also pay attention to the personal assessment in the report card.

We pay attention to the following criteria:

– School grades in math, physics, English or technical subjects
– General technical aptitude as well as ability to think logically
– Spatial imagination
– Teamwork and communication skills
– Independence and sense of responsibility

In the tabular resume, you provide the most important information about yourself. The following data should be included:

– First and last name
– Place, country of birth
– Nationality
– Schools attended
– School-leaving qualifications (possibly: courses attended, e.g. computer course)
– Internships/Taster Apprenticeships (Switzerland)
– Favorite subjects at school
– Special knowledge
– Hobbies
– Place and date

Upon receipt of your application, you will receive a confirmation email. Please be patient while we thoroughly review your application and hopefully invite you for an interview.

Once we receive your application, we will review it thoroughly and invite you to an interview with us. There, the personal impression is what counts most. To give you an impression of what it’s like to work for us as an industrial mechanic, we’ll be happy to arrange a trial workday with you. Only if you are also convinced of us and we are a good match, we will offer you a training position afterwards. If we are convinced that we are a good match, we will then offer you a training position.

We want to get to know you better and learn more about who you are and how well we fit together. To do this, we ask you a few questions about your interests, skills and career. Feel free to think about what questions you would like to ask us in advance as well. So you can be sure that we are also the perfect partner for you.

You can apply between July and December for training in the following year. It always starts in September – regardless of whether training.
